Artist, Arpita Kar: My home town Agartal in Tripura - is full of natural beauty and famous for bamboo. However in the last two years the city life has grown rapidly, destroying beautiful nature. I have expressed this event in this painting: one part of this artwork shows Buddha as a symbol of peace in the midst of cut bamboo, and the other part shows natural beauty.
