Hans Scholze

Enjoying Hans Scholze's creations is easy for everyone. His works made of structures, mazes and geometrical forms are created out of spontaneous drawings as he lets his subconscious guide his hand without prior planning of his drawings. The result is a collection of works that art critiques regard as both intriguing and stimulating. Our advice is to simply take a step closer and let yourself and your guests dive into his creations.

Hans Scholze is a Dutch artist who was born in Java, Indonesia in 1933. He was trained as an architect and exhibited numerous times since the 1960s, including the 'Quatrieme Biennale de Paris, Modern Art Museum in Paris' in 1965 and numerous galleries throughout The Netherlands. He passed away in 2003 in Soest, The Netherlands. His works are now permanently exhibited in Teylers Museum (Haarlem, The Netherlands), and Collectie De Stadshof (Ghent, Belgium).
