Hassan Abd Alwan: Al Nasirya, Iraq (1945-2013) is one of the pioneers of an Iraqi art movement. He graduated from the Institute of Fine Arts Baghdad in 1965 and was a member of the International Association of Fine Arts, the Iraqi Artists Syndicate and a member of UNESCO
He participated to numerous international exhibitions in Tunis, Morocco, Beirut, Khartoum, Amman, Damascus, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, UAE, Madrid, Tokyo, London, Sweden, Belgium, Netherlands, Moldova, Rome, and Switzerland.
Hassan Abd Alwan also received a number of Arab and international awards including the International Festival of Fine Arts, 2002.
