Roha

Roha (Hasroha) is a Malaysian artist based in Kuala Lumpur. Engineer by profession, she began her artistic journey in 2016 when she suffered emotionally from being temporarily separated from her family due to professional assignments in Sudan and Iraq. Further affected by witnessing the poor living conditions of local inhabitants, she found solace in art exploration and practice. Painting has ever since remained an active part of her life and mean of communication.

Roha mostly paints peaceful scenes of nature where selected touches of impressionism complement and bring life to her realistic style.

To date, Roha has produced more than 300 pieces, 50 of which have been acquired by art collectors, while others have been donated to charity, hospitals, and orphanages in Malaysia and other countries.  Roha has also conducted numerous art classes. She often recommends others to engage in painting and enjoys seeing her art collected and share around the world.
